Diabetes Treatment

Diabetes is a chronic disease that requires treatment from qualified medical professionals. Type one diabetes can be managed with insulin, changes to your diet, and increased exercise. Type two diabetes can be managed with other medications aside from insulin, but insulin may also be used as treatment. Diet and exercise can help treat Type Two diabetes, as well.

What Causes Diabetes?

Type one diabetes is commonly believed to be caused by genetics and environmental factors. Type two diabetes can also be related to genetics, but this is the most common form of diabetes because it can be triggered by an unhealthy diet and other factors related to an individual’s lifestyle.
